My husband and I love the Tavern. It's so nice to have a local place that we can meet friends for dinner without having to drive all the way downtown. They have a nice selection of wines and really yummy cocktails as well as great and friendly service. I have noticed that the bar crowd gets overly excited when they show the steeplechases but who am I to hold that against them? I would highly recommend it to anyone who lives in the area or is just visiting.

With it's balance of "lite fare" and fine dining "The Tavern" as it known to the locals attracts a diverse crowd and has an equally diverse menu. In one sense it is truly "the local" in that it has a bar which attracts the same samll group of characters night after night.

It was JUST GREAT! Think we have found a new tradition to have our turkey dinner from now on with the very nice folks at the Manor Tavern. The service was good; we were not rushed in the least, and the waiter was a delight.

Made for a very Happy Thanksgiving for our little family. Thanks for a nice time.

This place is warm, welcoming, friendly, great food, great prices and I will continue to visit again and again.

I have tried many of the dishes at Manor Tavern and have loved them all. The more casual lunchtime sandwiches, like the cuban flatbread were great and for the price you can't beat it. The bar drinks are some of the best around, as well as the help (especially in the bar).

The people in the lounge/bar area are more than friendly and the best bloody Mary is made right here!

I have been going to this wonderful restaurant for close to 20 years. It is a historic landmark in horse farm country where many still dress for dinner. There are fireplaces throughout and I love eating here on a cold winter's night with the fire blazing and having their delicious french onion soup to warm up. I have not had a bad meal here for all these years.

We especially love their wine list because they have some local vineyards mixed in with a great selection of Napa and Sonoma.

These people KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! The food is phenomenal. The service is impeccable. And for all of that it’s worth the pricey menu. Everything is wonderful and always a pleasant experience. When I visit my dad in Baltimore I always request we come here! –J.K. 12-5-08
